Four SE Zone Team Members

McCallie/GPS Aquatics has FOUR 2014 LC Southeastern Zone Team members! We could not be more proud of these swimmers for their hardwork and performances at the 2014 Southeastern Championships in Knoxville July 17-20.

The Southeastern Championship Meet represents over 7,500 swimmers from 75 different club teams in Tennessee, Alabama and Florida, which makes up SES (Southeastern Swimming.)

They will complete at the Southern Age Group Zone Swimming Championships on July 29 - August 2, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. Hosted by the Alamo Area Aquatics Association.

Jake Marcum (13&14 boys)
• 200m Backstroke SE Champion, setting a team record with a 2:16.66
• 100m Backstroke SE Runner-Up, setting a team record with a 1:03.51
• 400m Freestyle Relay SE Champion, ranked #19 in the country
            (teammates Ethan Bevill, Peter Dyr, Gabriel Johnson)
• 400m Medley Relay SE Champion, ranked #2 in the country 
            (teammates Peter Dyr, Gabriel Johnson, Luke Massey)
• 800m Freestyle, 6th place

Susanna LaRochelle (15&over girls)
• 400m IM, 4th place
• 200m IM, 5th place
• 100m Breaststroke, 10th place
• 200m Backstroke, 9th place, setting a team record with a 2:22.39

Grayson Payne (11&12 girls)
• 50m Backstroke SE Champion, ranked #1 in the country, setting a team record with 31.76
• 100m Butterfly, 8th place
• 200m IM, 7th place, setting a team record with 2:35.46
• 100m Backstroke, 5th place, setting a team record (in prelims) 1:10.35
