Coaches and Directors
Coach Dahlke is a native of Chattanooga, TN and has been a part of the Chattanooga swimming community since 1976. Coach Dahlke started in 1995 as an age group coach with Scenic City Aquatic Club (now McCallie/GPS Aquatics), became the McCallie Middle School Coach, and then Head Age group coach. In 2012 he became Head Coach of the newly renamed McCallie GPS Aquatics and in 2018 took over as Varsity Coach for the GPS Swim Team.
He lives in East Branierd with his amazing wife (Carrie) and two fantastic kids (Christian and Lily Claire).

Zane lives in Ridgeside, TN with his wife and five children.
Coach Corcoran has been at McCallie over 30 years! He coached Olympians, State Champions, and champions at all levels of swimming. Coach Corcoran can also be found teaching learn to swim lessons. The McCallie High School team consistently ranks as one of the top high school programs in the country. Coach Corcoran has been named Tennesse High School Coach of the Year and Southeastern Coach of the Year several times.
Coach Corcoran will continue to teach lessons at McCallie, serve as the aquatic director, be the McCallie Varsity Assistant Coach, and assist with the senior group as needed.

Coach Susan has been coaching with McCallie/GPS Aquatics since 2023, working with the Home School and Grey Groups and is the Head coach of the McCallie middle school team. Coach Susan started swimming at the age of eight. She was a nationally ranked age group swimmer, part of a National HS record breaking relay and a two event Olympic Trials Qualifier.
Coach Susan lives in North Chattanooga with her husband Dan and their children.

Erin’s swimming career began in 2008 when she joined her local summer league team, the Longview Seadragons, in middle Tennessee. She obtained several high point awards as an age group swimmer. Later on she joined Excel Aquatics and began swimming year round in addition to becoming a co-captain of her high school swim team. Erin is a 4 time regional qualifier and became the first swimmer in her high schools history to qualify for state as a freshman. Erin joined the McCallie/ GPS coaching staff in 2021 and currently coaches the Silver Group. She attends the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga seeking a degree in Psychology where she swims and leads the club swim team.

Coach Zach will be leading our Blue group this season.
Zach graduated from the Baylor School and was on five state championship swim teams. He continued his academic and swimming career at the University of Alabama where he was a varsity swimmer, scoring points at the SEC Championships in the 200 butterfly. Following his swimming career, Zach competed in triathlon professionally and represented the United States in multiple international events. He lives on Signal Mountain with his wife Lane and daughters Penny and Summer.

Coach Annie is a native of Chattanooga, TN and graduate from Baylor School class of 2004. She started her coaching career at the Big Ridge Raiders in 2022. She then joined the McCallie/GPS coaching staff in 2023 as a sub and progressed to Gray Group coach a year later. Growing up, she swam from the age of six up for the Signal Mountain Green Giants and later on for Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. While at Baylor School, she played varsity soccer all four years and swam varsity two years. She played collegiate soccer at Austin Peay State University for one year. Then transferred to Belmont University where she finished college in 2008. She is a licensed physical therapist assistant and currently in the DPT program at South College to become a licensed physical therapist.
She currently lives in Hixson with her wife, Veronica, and their four children (Ashton Conibear, and the triplets – Avery, Payton, and Emory O’Steen).

Coach Thurman will be assisting with the McCallie Middle School team and with our age group program.

Janelle Wigal Wagoner(26), originally from Chattanooga, was a member of McCGPS Aquatics regularly participating in the Southeastern SC and LC championships beginning at age nine, as well as a state qualifier and finalist in Swimming, Cross Country and Track & Field for her highschool, until her graduation in 2014. She then signed with intent to swim at the D1 school, Valparaiso University. Janelle also walked on to, and later became the captain of, the Cross Country and Track Teams. She graduated summa cum laude from Valpo in May 2018 with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Music. While at Valpo, Janelle was a member of a four year top five Academic All-American team, and was awarded the Missouri Valley Conference "Athletic and Academic Excellence" award for Track, and the "Best At Other Sports" award by her cross-country teammates. She is currently employed as a Substation Protection and Control Engineer at Mesa Associates, Inc. Janelle continues to compete in the sports she loves by training in open-water swimming and triathlons. In whatever free time she can find, Janelle enjoys walking her dog, Mae, and performing with her professional choral ensemble, Chorus Angelorum Chattanooga.

Coach Anna Grace will lead the MSHS group this year. She will also assist with other groups where needed.
Anna Grace will begin graduate school for Athletic Training this summer.

Katie started coaching at Colonel Aquatics (now part of Lexington Dolphins) in Richmond, KY. She also was the head coach for Lafayette High School (Lexington, KY) and Arlington Country Club (Richmond, KY). Currently, she is the Head Coach of Stuart Heights Swim Team (summer league) and coaches Silver Group at McCallie.
Katie began swimming in Chattanooga for Stuart Heights when she was seven, and then Scenic City Aquatic Club. She is a 2001 graduate of GPS, as well as a State Champion and All-American, focusing on breaststroke and the IM. Katie then continued her swimming career at Transylvania University (KY).
She lives in Ooltewah with her husband John, and two sons Jack and Ben (who swim in senior group and blue group, respectively).
Caroline joined the coaching staff in 2012, and has coached all levels of our age group program. She brings years of coaching experience to our club, working with swimmers of all ages and abilities throughout the Chattanooga area. She has coached in the Chattanooga Area Swim League (CASL) for over 15 years. Caroline has been selected to be a Southeastern Swimming Zones Coach for 3 years, and is currently serving as the Southeastern Swimming Age Group Chair.
Caroline is a graduate of Girls Preparatory, where she was an All-American and TN state finalist, and is a graduate of Bernau University (GA). She is currently in the GPS Athletic Hall of Fame, the Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame and the Lookout Mountain Sports Hall of Fame.
Kendall joined the McC/GPS coaching staff in 2011, and is currently a Blue Group coach. She brings years of age group coaching to the club, as she has coached the GPS middle school team for 10 years and coached within the Chattanooga Area Swim League (CASL) for 8 years. Kendall has been a part of the Southeastern Swimming All-Star Zone coaching staff for two years.
She began her swimming career within CASL for Stuart Heights, and during her time she was a 3x High Point winner and Jennifer Fugate nominee. Kendall is a 2004 graduate of GPS, where she was a TN State Championship qualifier and finalist. She was also a Southeastern Swimming qualifier and finalist for McC/GPS (then Scenic City Aquatic Club). During her collegiate years at Transylvania University (Lexington, KY) she was a Bluegrass Mtn Conference champion, team captain, taught swim lessons, and coached the school's summer swim camps.
Kendall loves coaching age group swimmers, because she can help foster their love for swimming, and begin to set and reach goals, in and out of the water. Kendall recently moved to Signal Mountain with her husband.
